GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A secret recruitment project, known as "Project Teal", will be backed with a tax incentive package passed by the Greenville County Council Tuesday night.Council Chairman Butch Kirvin told News 4 the tax breaks will help the county recruit an undisclosed company that he claimed would bring 1,000 jobs and a $20 million investment.Because the recruitment effort is a secret, the council will not name the company or describe what the company does. Without any details, News 4 cannot independently confirm the company's interest.
Kirvin did say, "it's an internationally well-known company, high quality products, so we're very pleased that they're high on Greenville".
