Marc Dopher joined the WYFF News 4 Sports team in early 2008. He came to Greenville from deep South Texas where he spent nearly five years working at KRGV NewsChannel 5 as Sports Anchor and Reporter. During his time in Texas, Marc was honored by the Associated Press for his Sports Reporting in 2004 and 2006.

Marc is a graduate of Missouri State University (formerly known as Southwest Missouri State). While in college, he got his big break in broadcasting when he interned at KOLR10 and Fox 27, the CBS and Fox affiliates in Springfield, Missouri. In the summer of 2003 Marc traveled to Nebraska to cover the College World Series. He has also covered the St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training in Jupiter, Florida which he says was his best assignment because he's a lifelong fan of the Red Birds: it's hard not to be when you grow up on a cattle farm in central Missouri!

Marc has been on a long a winding road over the past few years, but he is very happy to call Greenville home. When he isn't bringing you the latest news and notes from the world of sports, you can usually find Marc on the golf course, in the kitchen, or lounging on the couch.
