Geoff Hart has been the Sports Director at WYFF News 4 since 1993. He took an interesting route to get here!

He's originally from Canada but spent most of his childhood in England with his parents and 4 brothers before the family relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida when Geoff was a teenager.

As a British soccer fanatic growing up, Geoff quickly found a spot at Cardinal Gibbons High as a placekicker, which eventually earned him a scholarship to Northeastern University in Boston, where he kicked for the Huskies for 4 years.

Geoff took at shot at the pros, even signed with the Patriots in 1986, before he returned to school to earn a Masters Degree in Communications from Emerson College in Boston. Equipped with a resume tape, he landed his first TV job in Wilmington, NC in 1989. 4 years later, he arrived in Greenville.

Geoff's sportscasts, which have won numerous awards throughout the years, can be seen at 6:00pm and 11:00pm each weekday night. Geoff and his wife have 3 daughters and a son.
